Data controller

What data we process

• Data entered in the contact form: full name, company, job title, email address, phone number (optional), main need, message text (optional) and the language of the site from which the request was sent.
• Technical browsing data: as with any website, the servers hosting it receive the technical data needed to deliver the pages, such as IP address, date and time of the request, page visited and browser type.

The website does not use cookies, analytics or profiling tools.

Why we use it

The data entered in the contact form is used solely to answer your request and get back to you. It is not used for newsletters, promotional communications or profiling, and it is not passed on to third parties.

Technical data is needed to run the website and protect it from abuse.

Legal basis

• Contact requests: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Technical data: the controller's legitimate interest in the operation and security of the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Providing your data

The fields marked with an asterisk are needed to answer you: without them the request cannot be sent. Phone and message are optional.

How it is processed

The website does not store requests in a database: the content of the form is sent by email to Tarcav's company mailbox. Processing is carried out with electronic tools and with appropriate measures to protect the data.

Who may process it

The data is processed by the data controller and by the technical providers that support it, acting as data processors: Vercel Inc. (website hosting), Resend (sending the emails generated by the form) and the company mailbox provider.

Vercel and Resend are based in the United States. Processing may therefore involve a transfer of data outside the European Union, which takes place on the basis of the safeguards provided for in Articles 44 et seq. GDPR, such as the EU-US adequacy decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Contact requests are kept for as long as needed to handle them and in any case for no longer than 12 months from the last exchange. If a business relationship arises from the request, the data is kept for the duration of the relationship and for the period required by law.

Technical browsing data is kept by the hosting provider for limited periods, according to its policies.

Your rights

You can ask at any time for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15-22 GDPR). To exercise your rights, write to info@tarcav.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

Automated decisions

The data is not subject to automated decision-making or profiling.
